ICYMI, a few thing’s from this morning’s #KiTC Morning Show!

.)  They’re giving away a new G3 john boat at this year’s SI Boat and Fishing Show!  It’s their 10th anniversary!  Come on our to the Pavillion for the City of Marion this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday!  Admission is FREE for the whole family!  Boats!  Fishing tackle!  Boats!  RV’s!  Boats!  AND bluegrass music! Food!  Fun!  And more Boats!  It’s the cure for cabin fever!  I’ll be there for a LIVE Z100 broadcast on Saturday from 11AM-1PM at the Pavillion!  The folks with Visit SI are asking everyone to bring a non-perishable food item to help stock Williamson County food pantries!  Check out their website HERE!  (click HERE for audio)

.)  The #BestoftheBest category for the morning was…STEAK!  I had calls from all over Southern Illinois!  AND, what I love about this feature, is I learn of some hidden gems where I need to visit and try out!  The top vote-getter at 9AM was… The Red Onion in Equality, IL!  (click HERE for audio)

.)  Let’s get Kre8ive with Mary Poppins!  My friend Ryan Patrick was in the studio today to promote Kre8ive Fine Arts Academy’s presentation of Mary Poppins!  This show involves kids from all over Southern Illinois who have a passion for acting, and the arts!  You’ll want to get your tickets NOW!  Or call the Marion Cultural and Civic Center at (618) 997-4030!  Show times are Friday, Saturday at 7PM, and Sunday matinee at 2PM! (2-3-17 through 2-5-17)  (click HERE for audio)

.)  A state lawmaker in Virginia is trying to get a bill passed which would fine motorists $250 for driving too slow in the “fast lane”.  I have no idea how they would be able to enforce this law…but isn’t it frustrating to get behind one of these guys?  Just DRIVE!  Don’t go crazy in the fast lane, but don’t go 10 miles under the speed limit either!  If Virginia passes the bill and it becomes a law, other states could follow suit.  (click HERE for audio)
