We are certainly blessed in Southern Illinois with several places that we can just hop in the car, and enjoy with our family!  I had a ton of calls for places like Bald Knob Cross, Giant City Lodge, Rend Lake, Kinkaid Lake, Crab Orchard National Wildlife Refuge, Canon Park, and many others!  Even one place I hadn’t heard of yet!  And I’ve lived here all of my life!  Who’s up for a road trip down to “Rim Rock“!?  After all the votes were tallied, Garden of the Gods was the top-vote-getter, and now going into the “Best of the Best” wall-of-fame!
