1.)  The Oscars.  WOW!  Somebody goofed.  Bigtime!  Did you feel like something was up as soon as Warren Beatty and Faye Dunnaway stepped onto that stage?  I did!  In case you missed it, here’s how one of the biggest mishaps in Oscar history went down last night!

2.)  #BlueMonday police officer salute!  Hat’s off to Christopher Police Officer Dustin Lawrence! Here’s the e-mail we received for officer Lawrence…

“Officer Lawrence has worked in Law Enforcement for over ten years. Officer Lawrence started his career working as a Firefighter in Johnston City, IL for eight years. During that time, he took his love of fire and serving to the military where he became a Firefighter in the Air Force. Office Lawrence is currently in his eighth year with the Air Force. He continued serving his community by working EMS for five years and turned into his current position as Patrolman and SRO Officer in Christopher. IL. Officer Lawrence dedicates his time not only the town of Christopher but also to its students. He recently raised 10,000 pennies for Christopher Elementary Quest for a Million Pennies. He was rewarded with a pie in the face in front of all the students, staff, and facility.

Officer Lawrence is one of the most dedicated and hard-working police officers I’ve ever met. He continues his education and training to constantly stay up top of o the latest drugs, laws, and regulations. With the recent war of police officers, Officer Lawrence, never questions putting on his uniform each day. This seems to be the fuel that drives his fire to fight for justice and to protect and serve those around him.”

If you know someone who deserves this recognition, nominate him or her RIGHT HERE!

3.)  The Voice is heading into its 12th season, and Blake Shelton has no intention of quitting the show anytime soon.  He tells the Tennessean, “It really does feel like my baby now. When that show goes live, Adam and Carson and me steer that ship. It matters to us. I’ve given it so much of myself, I’m not ready to walk away yet. I will be, but not yet.” He says he can’t imagine turning on the TV and seeing someone else in his big red chair.
