Police in Williamson County have released more information about the police pursuit of an RV Friday night.

In a press release, the sheriff’s office says that 38-year-old Kevin Page stole the RV and was initially pursued by Marion Police.

After refusing to stop for Marion officers, the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office joined the chase. Page kept going though, even driving through a set of stop sticks which damaged the RV’s tires.

After leaving Marion, Page sped through Pittsburg and Johnston City, picking up more police as he went.

The chase finally ended in Herrin, Page rammed a Herrin Police officer’s squad car with the stolen RV.

He was arrested and charged with aggravated fleeing and eluding, aggravated assault on a police officer, theft of a motor vehicle and possession of a stolen motor vehicle. Page is also charged with numerous traffic citation.

He was taken to the Williamson County jail.
