“Z100 & Miller Light present the Colgate Country Showdown Preliminaries 2009”
Rules for Preliminary Competition
Must be at least 21 to enter.
Registration begins at 6pm.
There will be up to 15 contestants competing in each preliminary. The first 12 contestants to register are guaranteed a spot. The final 3 spots will be determined by a blind draw. Blind draw tickets will be distributed until 6:45pm at which time the final 3 contestants will be randomly drawn.
All contestants who perform live on stage must register & pay the $15 entry fee. This fee is to be paid once, regardless of the number of stage appearances during the course of the Colgate Country Showdown/Preliminaries.
Each contestant is limited to 3 stage appearances during the course of Z100’s Colgate Country Showdown Preliminaries.
Three top scorers from each preliminary round will advance to the preliminary finals. Those top scorers will be announced the next morning on the Nut & Honey Morning Show on New Country, Z100.
Decision of the judges is final.
Preliminary Final will be held at Copper Dragon Tuesday, May 25th @ 7:30pm.
The Colgate Country Showdown will be held at Herrinfesta Italiana on May 30th. There will be ten singers that advance from the Preliminary Final at Copper Dragon.
