Another year is here, and another chance for schoolkids everywhere to get in on the Quest for a Million pennies with Regions Bank!! This is one of the biggest penny drives in the nation!! And all of the money raised goes straight to the kids of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital!
TEACHERS: WE NEED YOUR CLASS!! You are the life-blood of the Quest on New Country Z100! With your help, we have raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for St. Jude, and we’re ready to do it again! ENTRY FORM located at the bottom of THIS PAGE!
All you need to do is ask your students to bring in their pennies, dimes, quarters, dollars…whatever! Put out a collection box labeled “Quest for a Million Pennies”, and turn your money into New Country Z100’s radiothon for St. Jude Kids in March! The Quest is for any age, any classroom, anywhere! You could be a teacher of a Pre-K class and participate! You could be a teacher of a college class and participate! You could even teach a Sunday School class and participate! So get on board the Quest for a Million Pennies!
Some things to keep in mind:
-It’s easy to do! Individual classrooms can be involved, or even whole school districts.
-Place a container labeled “Quest for a Million Pennies” out for your students to bring in their pennies.
-Collect donations NOW through the first half of March
-Make it FUN! Challenge other classes, grade levels, businesses, teachers, whoever! (Example: If one classroom reaches 10,000 pennies, then the principal gets a pie in the face! Have fun!)
-Show your students some facts on your smartboard by going to www.stjude.org. We want them to know where their money is going to. One of the best places on planet Earth by our calculations!
-When done collecting money, sometime in early to mid March, convert your loose change into a cashier’s check made payable to “St. Jude”. Just swing by your closest Regions Bank, and they will help you!
-We invite you and your classroom to make a check presentation during our annual St. Jude Radiothon at New Country Z100 / River Radio studios on Rt. 13 in Carterville. We would need you to RSVP for some time-frame during the 2-day broadcast, Thursday and Friday March 29th and 30th 2018, between the hours of 6AM and 6PM. Please call (618) 985-4843, Monday through Friday, 8AM to 5PM, and ask to make a reservation for a classroom check presentation. Reservations for check presentations are made on a first come-first call basis.
-If you can’t make it in person with your students, or with a couple representatives, you can mail your check to:
New Country Z100, Quest for a Million Pennies, 1431 Country Aire Drive, Carterville, IL 62918
There ya’ go!! Keep listening to New Country Z100 AND THANK YOU for helping the kids of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital!
