MURPHYSBORO, IL. (WJPF) — The trial of a De Soto woman accused of hiring someone to kill her husband has been delayed.

Carmen Stonemark is charged with hiring James Deese to kill her husband, Frank Stonemark, and then helping Deese to dismember and conceal the body.

Stonemark’s defense counsel want more time to go over evidence including electronic records and the contents of a safe deposit box.

Her next hearing is scheduled for November 26, 2018.

James Deese has pleaded guilty and is scheduled to be sentenced in November.
