SPARTA, Ill. (WJPF) — A Randolph County funeral director will spend the next three years behind bars for scamming pre-arranged funeral customers.

Nathan Lee is the former owner of McDaniel-Lee Funeral Home is Sparta. He pleaded guilty in July to two counts of failure to deposit funds.

In addition to jail time, Lee must also pay a $2,000 fine and $25,000 in restitution to about 30 victims.
