So get on board the Quest for a Million Pennies with Peoples National Bank!
Some things to keep in mind:
-It’s easy to do! Individual classrooms can be involved, or even whole school districts.
-Place a container labeled “Quest for a Million Pennies” out for your students to bring in their pennies.
-Collect donations NOW through the first half of March
-Make it FUN! Challenge other classes, grade levels, businesses, teachers, whoever! (Example: If one classroom reaches 10,000 pennies, then the principal gets a pie in the face! Have fun!)
-Show your students some facts on your smart-board by going to www.stjude.org.
-When done collecting money, sometime in early to mid March, convert your loose change into a cashier’s check made payable to “St. Jude”.
-***We invite you and your classroom to make a check presentation during our annual St. Jude Radiothon at New Country Z100 / River Radio studios on Rt. 13 in Carterville. We would need you to RSVP for some time-frame during the 2-day broadcast, Thursday and Friday March 26th and 27th 2018, between the hours of 6AM and 6PM. Please call (618) 985-4843, Monday through Friday, 8AM to 5PM, and ask to make a reservation for a classroom check presentation. Reservations for check presentations are made on a first come-first call basis.***
-If you can’t make it in person with your students, or with a couple representatives, you can mail your check made payable to “St. Jude” to:
New Country Z100, Quest for a Million Pennies, 1431 Country Aire Drive, Carterville, IL 62918
