CARBONDALE, Ill. (WJPF) — A Carbondale man has been arrested for impersonating a police officer and trying to steal a car.
Carbondale Police say they were called to the 1900 block of South Illinois Avenue at about 9:50 p.m. Monday. At the scene, officers found Lukas Jones, 31, trying to take a car by claiming he was a police officer.
Jones was taken to the Jackson County Jail on charges of impersonating a police officer and disorderly conduct.
