WEST FRANKFORT, Ill. (WJPF) – Frankfort Community High School Principal, Aaron Hill has resigned.

The letter of resignation came in June 1 and is effective immediately.

Hill is currently facing an aggravated battery charge from earlier this year. The charge is related to an incident that occurred outside of school hours and did not involve any students of the district.

The position has been posted on their website www.wfschools.org.

The board of education will be holding a special meeting June 11 to consider personal issues.
