Two of the three people charged in the 2016 death of Mt Vernon women whose burned remains were found in Carbondale will appear in court Friday.

23-year-old Tiesha Anderson and 27-year-old Robert Dennis have both been charged with first degree murder. Both have pleaded not guilty.

Anderson will appear for a case management hearing after she requested a new court-appointed attorney back in December. Dennis’ hearing is to determine if he is mentally fit to stand trial.

A third woman involved in the case, 24-year-old Lauren Stinde, has pleaded guilty. She is awaiting sentencing.
