Following a two day trial, a Murphysboro woman has been found guilty of residential burglary.

According to a news release from the Jackson County State’s Attorney Office, 33-year-old Casey Crow unlawfully entered a Murphysboro home in October of last year and stole property that belonged to the residents.

Police were called when a neighbor saw Crow’s car in the home’s driveway and became suspicious. Police were then able to locate the car and recover the stolen items.

Crow faces up to 15 years in prison, she’s scheduled to be sentenced March 27, 2018.
