We now additional details about a wreck that snarled traffic on I-57 in Franklin County Wednesday morning.

State Police say 61-year-old Mark Johnson, of Marion, was driving south when his semi left the roadway to the right.

The truck hit an embankment, then a light pole, and then concrete culvert. The impact caused the truck’s cab to partially separate from the frame.

Johnson was airlifted from scene with major injuries.
