A St. Louis area woman was killed, two others, including a minor, injured, in a single vehicle accident on Interstate 57 Sunday afternoon.

State Police say it happened in Williamson County, just a few miles south of the Marion exits.

A preliminary accident report indicates that the driver was traveling north when she left the roadway and hit a tree.

A 20 year old male passenger suffered minor injuries. A juvenile in the back seat suffered major injuries.
