MARION, IL. (WJPF) – A Marion man has been sentenced to three years in state prison on drug and theft charges.

According to a release from Williamson County State’s attorney Brandon Zanotti, 35-year-old Bernard Cole sold illegal drugs to a confidential informant and misrepresented himself as a landlord and took money from a would-be tenant.

Cole was sentenced to three years for each charge. The sentences to run concurrently. Cole must also pay restitution to the victims in the theft case.
