CARTERVILLE, IL. (WJPF) – A motorcycle rider is dead after a head on crash with a car in Williamson County.

It happened near the Pin Oak Motel and Bar around 5:30 PM Sunday.

35-year-old Rex Rhyne was pronounced dead at Carbondale Memorial Hospital.

The crash is still under investigation.
