Wednesday night, Saluki Basketball reeled in a new commit: guard Chris Cross, a 6’1 guard of the Urbana Tigers.
Cross was a three year varsity letter winner on the hardwood for the Tigers and scored 20 points in the Tigers’ season finale against Springfield Lanphier in a 46-44 3A Regional Semifinal loss.
Cross is the nephew of a former Saluki, Joshua Cross, who played in Carbondale from 1997 to 2001 averaging 6.6 points per game and 4.4 rebounds per game through 120 games, 31 of which he started in.
Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
