The Southern Illinois Junior High School Athletic Association met Thursday and approved junior high baseball, softball, and cross country for the fall based on restrictions established by the IHSA on Wednesday.

All three sports will be limited to two 8th grade contests per week.  No tournaments are allowed at this time.

If Governor J.B. Pritzker requires all schools to begin remote learning, the SIJHSAA says that sports will either be canceled or suspended.
