GURNEE, Ill. (WJPF) — An SIU student was shot and killed Saturday in the northern Illinois town of Gurnee.

A native of Waukegan, Fernando Lobo, 22,  was was working on a master’s degree in biology.

Services are planned for Friday and Saturday in Waukegan.
