UNION COUNTY, Ill. (WJPF) – A fatal crash on Interstate 57 in Union County is under investigation.

It happened just after 7:30 a.m. Monday in the southbound lanes, between the Anna and Lick Creek Road exits.

Police say a sedan and tractor trailer were involved in the crash. One death has been reported. Names have not been released.
