HARRISBURG — There will be no sharing for the Harrisburg Bulldogs, who clinched the SIRR Ohio baseball championship outright with a 12-2 win over Herrin in six innings.
The Bulldogs carried a 4-2 lead into the bottom of the sixth before exploding for eight runs to end it. Burke Wilson and Dax Randolph each had three hits to lead the Harrisburg offense. Wilson drove in three and scored once, while Randolph drove in 2 and scored twice.
Harrisburg improves to 20-3 on the season, finishing 7-1 in conference play. Herrin falls to 9-16 and finishes 2-6 in the conference.
