I had an opportunity to talk with Dr. Hornik with SIH Stroke Network.  Dr. Hornik is on a mission to educate Southern Illinois about the warning signs of stroke.  Remember this… “BE-FAST“.  Here’s what it stands for:

B – Balance

E – Eyes

F – Face

A – Arms, or legs

S – Speech

T – Time to call 911

Recognizing the early signs of stroke can save a brain, a life!
