Carterville coach Brett Diel is hoping his team can repeat their Week 9 performance against Harrisburg as the Lions gear up to face the Bulldogs for the second week in a row - this time in the postseason. Voice of the Lions, Dave McKenzie, caught up with Coach Diel before Saturday's game:
The Harrisburg Bulldogs picked up a huge win at Carterville in Week 6 of the season, pulling off a 66-yard pass late to secure a 29-28 victory over the Lions. That puts the Bulldogs in the driver's seat for an SIRR Ohio Division conference title as they prepare to take on undefeated Murphysboro in Week 7. Bulldogs coach Matt Griffith talked with Matt Varney about it all.
Logan baseball opens the season on February 2nd, 2024 at Hinds Community College. The Vols will be led by returning ace Drew Pestka - who was selected in the 18th round of the MLB Draft last year before ultimately deciding to return to Logan.
