Thanks to Saluki guard Makenzie Silvey for joining us (after the team Christmas party no less!). The MVC named Makenzie their Player Of The Week after she averaged just over 21 points the last three games, including 19 in Sunday's big win over Illinois.
Larry Warner is back at SIU as their running backs coach and he joined Sportsvoice on Location with Mike Murphy and Paxton Guy on Saturday before the SIU Spring Game:

Great to hear from Saluki wide receiver Landon Lenoir, the newest member of the SIU 2,000 career receiving-yard club. Landon talks about the Illinois State comeback, catching passes from Nic Baker, and if his big brother Lance (record-setting WIU receiver) is rooting for him this weekend.
Mike Reis joined Sportsvoice on Saturday and talked with Mike Murphy, Matt Varney, Dave McKenzie, and multiple Saluki fans about his decision to step away from the mic. They also reminisced about the past and had plenty of laughs
