Thanks to Saluki guard Makenzie Silvey for joining us (after the team Christmas party no less!). The MVC named Makenzie their Player Of The Week after she averaged just over 21 points the last three games, including 19 in Sunday's big win over Illinois.

Saluki men's basketball head coach Bryan Mullins joined us on the eve of Tuesday night's exhibition opener versus Henderson State. And for the first time in 6o8 days, Banterra Center will play host to in-person home fans.

Matt Varney talked with him about the news of a COVID outbreak running through the team, the loss of the Louisville MTE and looking to replace those lost games now, and the new recruits SIU Basketball signed on Wednesday
