Thursday night Herrin's school board hired Stephanie Allen as their next athletic director, marking the first time the Herrin Athletic Department will be headed up by a woman. The John A. Logan College baseball and softball programs received a large donation from the Harrison Bruce Foundation on Thursday morning. The donation will go to the construction of a brand new player development center, located between the two teams' fields. Matt Varney caught up with Vols baseball coach Kyle Surprenant after the check presentation.
