Herrin High School girls basketball coach Chris Roberts said Tuesday he is stepping away from his position after 5 seasons with the Tigers. Herrin finished 16-14 this season and captured the West Frankfort Mid-Winter Classic last month. Assistant coach Mike Mooneyham is also stepping aside:

The pair discussed Logan Softball picking up Zeigler-Royalton ace Hayley Pasquino and Red Bud standout Lyla Hess on signing day, the new Player Development Center that is set to be built at John A. Logan College, and how the Fall 2023 season went.

Harrisburg Bulldogs head coach Matt Griffith talked with Matt Varney this afternoon about last week's big win at Carterville to clinch the Bulldogs' first postseason win since 2012. They also discussed the highly anticipated game at Harrisburg, their first home playoff game since 2015, against Peoria Notre Dame this Saturday night at 5pm.
