Thursday night Herrin's school board hired Stephanie Allen as their next athletic director, marking the first time the Herrin Athletic Department will be headed up by a woman. John A. Logan men's basketball coach Tyler Smithpeters joined the program Tuesday night to discuss this week's final two regular season games as well as the upcoming Region 24 Tournament.
