Murphysboro athletic director Len Novara is getting ready for retirement at the end of the 2023-24 school year. He and Matt Varney sat down and talked about the Red Devil football program and how things have changed in his 23 years as Murphysboro AD.
Sesser-Valier-Waltonville co-head coach John Shadowens talked with Matt Varney on Thursday ahead of the Red Devils' huge Quarterfinals matchup this Saturday afternoon. It's the first time the Red Devils have reached the IHSA Quarterfinals since 1991.
