Hey deer hunters! Would you like to donate your deer to our local food pantries? "Hunters for the Hungry" is a project that could help you do just that! I had a chance to talk with project organizers Dawn Null, and Tony Kay Wright, on today's #KiTC Morning Show! Once you get your deer, contact one of the participating processors. They will process your deer and donate the ground venison to the Southern Illinois Food Pantry Network! Each processed deer can yield 40-50 pounds of high quality, lean protein. Not a deer hunter?
