The John A. Logan College baseball and softball programs received a large donation from the Harrison Bruce Foundation on Thursday morning. The donation will go to the construction of a brand new player development center, located between the two teams' fields. Matt Varney caught up with Vols baseball coach Kyle Surprenant after the check presentation.

Logan College, what he's bringing from his time with the men's program, expectations for the upcoming season for the women's program, and more.
Monday night was Herrin Girls Basketball's first game back from a COVID pause. The Tigers beat Murphysboro 59-24 behind a career-best 26 from Presli Karnes.
