The John A. Logan College baseball and softball programs received a large donation from the Harrison Bruce Foundation on Thursday morning. The donation will go to the construction of a brand new player development center, located between the two teams' fields. Thursday night Herrin's school board hired Stephanie Allen as their next athletic director, marking the first time the Herrin Athletic Department will be headed up by a woman.
