Murphysboro began holding Open Gym for their basketball players on Thursday with contact days becoming available once again to the high-risk sport participants. Kyle Smithpeters joined Sportsvoice on Saturday as the John A Logan men's basketball team heads off to the NJCAA Tournament. They play Wednesday against the winner of Ranger and Cochise. Wednesday brought about an update from the Illinois High School Association that was disappointing to most throughout the state.
