SIU Football has new playmakers that got to show off in their season-opener at BYU this past Saturday. Matt Varney and Coach Nick Hill talked about some of those new players and the team's upcoming game at Austin Peay.
SIU Baseball made history on Tuesday night with a 10-0 win over Austin Peay, tossing their first no-hitter since 1979 when Paul Evans pitched a 7-inning no-hitter. It's the first 9-inning no-no since 1953 when Paul Grandcolas no-hit Arkansas State. Mike Reis, the voice of the Salukis, caught up with skipper Lance Rhodes after the game, as well as the man who shut things down in the final frame, Kaden Peterson:

John A. Logan Baseball coach Kyle Surprenant joined Talkin Vols after his team won at Dyersburg State 16-4. That makes the #8 Vols 24-2 on the year and winners of 19 straight!
The Johnston City Indians bounced back from an overtime loss in Week 8 with a big 38-6 win at Carmi-White County in Week 9. Matt Varney spoke with Johnston City head coach Todd Thomas about the bounce back and Saturday's playoff game against Auburn.
