On Friday's press conference Matt Varney asked Saluki Men's Basketball coach why Lance Jones didn't see much time in the second half or overtime of Wednesday's SEMO game, Quincy University as an opponent, and how can the Salukis get over their offensive rebounding problems?

John A. Logan women's basketball coach Charlie Jones met with Matt Varney on Friday morning and talked about the two new commitments to the Logan program.  He also updated Benton product Ensley Tedeschi's injury status and talked about moving practice to a new time in the day.

SIU Men's Basketball Coach Bryan Mullins was on a teleconference Thursday afternoon.  Matt Varney talked with him about the news of a COVID outbreak running through the team, the loss of the Louisville MTE and looking to replace those lost games now, and the new recruits SIU Basketball signed on Wednesday
