The Southern Illinoisan announced their prep football player of the year on Saturday.  It's Keegan Glover, quarterback of Benton.  Mike Murphy and Scott Hudson talked about the senior quarterback and the selection:

After a 16-12 win over Flora to lock in to a postseason berth, the Sesser-Valier-Waltonville Red Devils were selected as the SIH Team of the Week!  Coach John Shadowens discusses the win with Matt Varney as well as the season up to this point, the Black Diamond as a whole, and their Week 9 matchup at Hamilton County:

Thursday the #6 John A. Logan Volunteers limited #8 Vincennes to just 41 points in a 53-41 contest.  That ended up being the lowest point total by a Vincennes team since 1951.  Mike Murphy found a way to talk with the traveling head coach of the Vols on the broadcast's postgame show and get his thoughts on the win:
