Murphysboro Basketball coach Daryl Murphy and voice of the Red Devils Matt Varney met up earlier this week to talk about dealing with the Coronavirus pandemic on the hardwood, the potential for a shot clock in IHSA regulated games, the hole in the post for the Red Devils, and more!

Anthony Hargrove is entering his fourth season as head coach of the Christopher-Zeigler-Royalton co-op football team.  Matt Varney went out to practice to talk with Coach Hargrove about the program finally reaching the maturation point, studs on the team like Peyton Mazur (who is receiving attention across the state) and Cole Gelso, Hargrove's daughter Amiah - who should dominate on the basketball court the next four years - and more!

The Lady Vols opened the season at State Fair Community College last week going 0-2.  Despite that, Coach Charlie Jones sees reason to be encouraged in his young team.  He and star center Cheyenne Trotter joined Talkin Vols on Tuesday.
