The Lady Vols finished the season Tuesday night in an 89-58 loss to #5 Wabash Valley in the District Tournament semifinals. Coach Amanda Shelby joined the broadcast afterwards and discussed the loss, the future, and the foundation of the program with several freshmen on the roster that are expected back for the 2022-2023 season:
Monday night, Benton girls' basketball star Ensley Tedeschi signed her letter of intent to play for John A. Logan women's basketball. The Hamilton County Foxes were selected as the SIH Team of the Week after defeating Carterville on the road 57-55. They continued that success the following week at the Benton Invitational with a signature win over Pinckneyville.
