Here’s one you don’t see every day!
A school in Maine recently marked the 43rd anniversary of an unwrapped Hostess Twinkie, which has been on display in the science department since 1976.
The popular snack cake was removed from its wrapper by a science teacher named Roger Bennatti to teach students about food preservatives, and has been on display ever since. It’s color has faded to gray and it’s hard as a rock, but its shape and size are unchanged, and there is no mold or rotting. (WBZ-TV)
