I think it’s safe to say that “Operation Grant” was a huge success! WOW! What an incredible outpouring of love and support for 3-year-old Grant Hock and his family in West Frankfort, IL!
Grant loves firetrucks, and police cars! He told his mom that he’d love to see some firetrucks, and a message came into the West Frankfort fire department asking about the possiblity of having a fire truck drive by the family’s house. When the crew at the West Frankfort Fire Department heard about Grant’s story, they decided one fire truck wasn’t going to be enough. A call went out, a couple facebook posts, and within two days time, things were set in motion for something truly amazing! “Operation Grant” was born, and hundreds of our region’s first responders showed up! All to provide a parade for Grant!
