SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WJPF) — Members of the Democratic Party of Illinois are scheduled to meet tonight to pick a new party chair.

Two candidates have emerged as frontrunners to replace Mike Madigan – Chicago Alderwoman Michelle Harris and Congresswoman Robin Kelly.

The meeting will be held virtually.
