CARRIER MILLS, Ill. (WJPF)- A Carrier Mills man has been arrested for Felony Domestic Violence.

On April 27, at 4:45am, police responded to the 700 block of E. Washington in reference to a domestic dispute. 

An officer located a female walking in the area that was emotionally upset and had received 2 black eyes and a cut on her nose.

The victim identified the person responsible as 18 year old Roman Taborn. The Victim also indicated that Taborn blocked her attempted exit from the residence and threatened her with a weapon.

Taborn was located and placed under arrest for Domestic Battery and Unlawful Restraint. Officers also learned he had violated an active order of protection during the incident.

He was taken to the Saline County Jail.
