HARRISBURG, Ill. (WJPF) – Police are investigating student threats at Harrisburg Middle School.

On April 29, staff discovered a threatening note in a classroom. Their safety team identified the student and released the student to parents and the Harrisburg Police.

Later, a separate student made a threatening remark involving a plastic binder. That student was also released.

Staff responded quickly to both incidents.

Police are investigating both situations.
