SALINE COUNTY, Ill. (WJPF) – One person has died following a crash in Saline County.

Air Evac was on scene at the intersection of IL 13 and Carrier Mills road just after 10am Friday, April 10. One person was taken to a nearby hospital where they were later pronounced dead. That person’s name has not been released at this time.

The crash, involving two vehicles, caused the roadway to be shut down for several hours.
