It was announced Tuesday morning that Carbondale’s Jim Miller is making the 2020-21 basketball season his final season.  Miller, an IBCA Hall of Famer, will retire after Carbondale’s March 9th season-ending home game game against Centralia.

This will be Miller’s 23rd season at Carbondale and 32 total on the sidelines.  He is the winningest coach in Terrier basketball history with 424 wins.  He has accumulated a total of 528 in his career.

During his career at Carbondale, Miller has won seven South 7 championships, ten regional championships and two sectional championships that resulted in a 2nd and 4th place finish at the State Finals.  He also has had 11 20-win seasons and won four Carbondale Holiday Tournament Championships, including the most recent in 2019.
