CARBONDALE, Ill. (WJPF) — Carbondale’s Quality Inn has been given the green light by city officials to resume operations.

The hotel’s license was pulled by the city on March 30 for unsafe conditions. Multiple incidents involving illegal guns, shots fired, and guests checking in for illegal long term stays were reported at the property.

The city says the problems have since been addressed and they’ll continue to monitor the situation.
