CAIRO, Ill. (WJPF) — A Cairo man is recovering after being shot Tuesday.

Police say the shooting happened at about 1:30 a.m. in the 200 block of 25th Street. The man was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

At this time, no suspects have been made public.
