WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Ill. (WJPF) — The Williamson County Sheriff’s Office will hold its annual deer hunters sight-in day this weekend.

The sheriff’s office will open up its firing range Saturday from 8:00 Am to 5:00 PM, rain or shine, for hunters to sight their weapons. Shotguns, muzzleloaders, and pistols will be allowed. Targets will be provided or hunters can bring their own.

The firing range, located at 18567 Philadelphia Road in Marion, is equipped with a pavilion shelter, shooting benches, and sand bags. Marked distances range from 25 to 200 yards.
