Thursday the NJCAA announced their All-American women’s basketball teams.  John A. Logan’s Jeniah Thompson was named to the Third Team.

Thompson was the nation’s second-leading scorer in the 2021-22 season with 23.2 points per game.  The Carterville product also averaged 11.9 rebounds per game and 3.4 assists per game while knocking down 47% of her shots and 30% beyond the arc.

Logan women’s basketball recently made the announcement that Thompson will return to the program for her sophomore season despite holding multiple offers at 4-year universities.
