ST. LOUIS, Mo. (WJPF) – The first case of Monkeypox has been reported in St. Louis.

Public health officials say the person contracted Monkeypox while traveling outside of the state of Missouri and has had minimal contact with others.

Symptoms of Monkeypox can include a rash, headache, chills and a fever. The risk to the general public remains extremely low.
