Police ask for public's help identifying suspect in hospital robbery

CARBONDALE, Ill. (WJPF) — Carbondale Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a robbery suspect.

CPD says the man in question forced his way into a restricted office area of SIH Memorial Hospital of Carbondale around 10:45 p.m. Wednesday and left with property belonging to SIH. The police say the suspect was confronted by a hospital security guard, but ran north on North Poplar Street and out of sight.
